Do you need a seaman's certificate?

Hege Strømsnes is now an approved seafarer doctor and can issue a health certificate for seafarers who sail under the Norwegian flag. Note that many other european contries accept a norwegian health certificate

Everyone who is to work on board a vessel must have a health declaration from an approved seaman's doctor stating that the person has been found fit to perform health services on board Norwegian ships and mobile facilities.

The health declaration is valid for two years.
